Step1: First prepare a toothbrush, a pair of rubber gloves, two chopsticks, a little sesame oil, lemon juice or purified water with sea salt.
Step2: Rinse the purchased oysters with water, and then place two chopsticks in the basin. Pour the oysters on top of the chopsticks, then pour in the sea water. Add a few drops of sesame oil and leave it for six hours. This can not only maintain the activity and taste of the oysters, but also allow the oysters to spit out the dirt in their bodies.
Step3: Wear rubber gloves and use a toothbrush to clean the mud on the surface of the oyster shell. Then use chopsticks or a knife to pry open the oyster shell and take out the oyster meat inside.
Step4: Put the removed oyster meat in a bowl, and then add an appropriate amount of salt water or lemon juice. The purpose is to remove the fishy smell of oysters and also make the oyster meat taste better.
If you choose to eat raw oysters or charcoal-grilled oysters, you do not need to dig out the oyster meat. You can add a few drops of lemon directly into the oyster shell to make the oyster meat taste better.
