Planting time and method of iced vegetables
The planting time of frozen vegetables is in the middle and late of spring 1 month and autumn in the middle and late of August. The planting method of crystal ice vegetables is sowing, planting, management and harvesting.

1, planting time: iced vegetables are cold-resistant but not heat-resistant. When the temperature exceeds 30℃, plants tend to cluster and their leaves shrink and thin. However, it is hot in summer in Jianghuai area, so it can be planted in spring and autumn.

Spring cultivation 1 sowing and seedling raising in the middle and late months, planting from late February to early March, and harvesting from April to June. In autumn, the seedlings are planted in the middle and late August, planted from late September to early October, and harvested from 1 1 month to February of the following year.

2. Sowing: The seeds of frozen vegetables are very small. Before sowing, seeds need to be soaked to accelerate germination. Plug seedlings can be used. Generally, a 200-hole seedling tray is used to sow 3 seeds. Because the seeds are extremely small, do not cover thick soil. Controlling the temperature at 20℃ is beneficial to their germination. At low temperature, an incubator should be used. 35-40 days after sowing, when the leaves grow to 4-5, transplanting and planting will be carried out.

3. Planting: Iced vegetables have strong drought resistance, so when choosing soil, you should choose plots with good drainage and strong air permeability, and you can choose border cultivation, with row spacing of 40~50cm and plant spacing of 30~40cm.

If it is potted iced vegetables, you can put the commercial substrate in the flowerpot, and transplant one according to 15 cm. Of course, it depends on the size of the flowerpot, and the spacing can be fine-tuned, not too dense, because iced vegetables need enough space to stretch their leaves.

4. Management: The seedlings of frozen vegetables have strong adaptability, and can grow normally at 10~30℃. 20~25℃ is the most suitable temperature for frozen vegetables, and the normal growth of frozen vegetables will be affected when the temperature is lower than 10℃. In case of strong light or high temperature weather, certain shading measures should be taken, and high temperature in summer cultivation will affect their growth.

5. Harvesting: When the fixed value is about 30 days, the plant grows to about 10~ 15cm. When the crystals attached to the leaves are formed, the branch stems grow vigorously and can be harvested when the length is about 10cm.
