Poria, the name of Chinese medicine. Poria cocos is the dried mycelium of the fungus Poria, family Polyporaceae. Poria cocos is mostly dug in July to September, after digging out, remove the sediment, pile up "sweating", spread out to dry the surface, and then "sweating".

Repeated several times to the wrinkles, the internal moisture is largely dissipated, dried, known as "Poria a"; or fresh Poria according to different parts of the cut, dried, respectively, known as "Poria block" and "Poria piece ".
