Episode 1

Elementary school teacher Ja-ran sends transfer student Young-min off to cry with her class. The teachers at the school see this and say that Jia-ran is more like a student than a student. Lawyer Nam-joon comes to his sister's house, who works as a teacher in an elementary school. In order to find a job, Nam-joon comes to the company where his brother-in-law works. At the company Nam-joon meets a gangster and makes a bad impression. Jia-ran was supposed to buy a wedding gift for her friend, but due to an emergency, she asked her classmate, teacher and good friend Sun-hee to buy it for her. When Jia Ran and Sun Hee meet, Jia Ran sees Nam Joon's back on the street and chases after him, thinking he is the one she is looking for. After failing to catch up with Nam-joon, Jia-ran is depressed and drinks with Sun-hee. Nam Joon goes to the school to look for his sister Nam Hee and meets Jia Ran and Sun Ji. Unexpectedly riding on it is Jia Ran, and the two start to fight again. Ja-ran, who fought with Nam-joon, feels depressed and drinks alone. A drunken Jia Ran returns home and weeps alone. When Jia Ran and Sun Hee go out, they have a confrontation with a group of people who ask Jia Ran to apologize and Jia Ran argues with them. In the end, their boss Gwan Ha comes out and apologizes to Jia Lan. Nam Joon asks his best friend Deok Jin to find his first love Hye Jin's contact number. Ga-ran and Sun-hee attend a friend's wedding, but want to run away from the wedding site in a hurry due to the horrible looks of the groom's friends. But they are dragged to the banquet hall. Ja-ran proposes a game to them and whoever wins gets to leave. Just as Jia Lan leads the crowd to play the game, Koon Ha appears. Nam Joon doesn't get Hye Chan's contact number and mopes around. In the park, Nam Joon unknowingly hums a song that Jia Lan always sings. By chance, Jialan, who is passing by, is curious to see the person humming the song, and when she sees Namjoon, Jialan's expression stiffens. Gwan Ha comes to see Jia Lan, but Jia Lan feels burdened. Nam Joon realizes from his sister that there is still no news of Hye Zan and goes back to the house, silently to gazing at Hye Zan's picture. The next day, Jia Ran and Nam Hee are shocked to find out that Hye Zan has come to the school as a temporary teacher. Nam Hee calls Nam Joon to tell him about Hye Zan being at the school and Nam Joon runs to the school in a breath. Nam Joon looks at Hye Zan excitedly, but Hye Zan treats Nam Joon coldly. Jia Ran finds Seung Min, a student who works at a nightclub, and persuades him to go back to school, but Seung Min doesn't listen. Jia Ran meets up with Koon Ha and Nam Joon who come to this nightclub. At school, Jia Ran is upset when she hears about the fight between her class and Hye Chan's class and Hye Chan hit her student. Jia Lan seeks out Hye Zan to argue. The two find the principal, who asks the two to work together on the library project, and the two have no choice but to agree. Namjoon inquires about Hyezan's phone number and he immediately calls Hyezan, but Hyezan treats him coldly. Episode 4

Hye-zan tells Nam-joon that he is getting married next month, and Nam-joon is devastated to hear it. Jia Lan comforts him but Nam Joon lashes out at Jia Lan instead. Jia Lan is depressed and when she comes home, she sees Sun Ji eating a donut and snatches it and eats it. Nam Joon becomes silent and just buries his head in his work, which surprises his colleagues at the company. Nam Hee is unaware of Nam Joon's distress and asks Hye Chan to comfort her brother, which is difficult for Hye Chan. Nam Joon is busy preparing company documents in his house and is startled to see Hye Chan suddenly walk into his room. Hye Zan tells Nam Joon to be a normal friend and Nam Joon loses it. When Nam Joon is dropping off Hye Chan, he sees Gwan Ha and Jia Ran together and is upset. Nam Hee tells Nam Joon to visit the principal before the school vacation and Nam Joon arrives at the school with his friends. As it happens, Jia Ran and the principal are talking and Nam Joon purposely avoids them. Seung Min, a student of Jia Ran's, approaches Jia Ran and says that he wants to go back to school. Jia Ran hears Gwan Ha's name from Seung Min and suddenly gets angry. Episode 5

Ga-ran, who had a fight with Guan-ha, suddenly receives a phone call from Shin-hyuk and gets emotional and sheds tears. Shin Hyuk tells Jia Ran that he became a priest and came to the Jeonju church and says he wants to see Jia Ran. Jia Lan comes to the church to peek at Shin Hyuk and sheds tears once again. Shin Hyuk's appearance surprises Nam Joon and on the other hand, he pities Jia Ran. Nam Joon, Jia Ran, Deok Jin, and Sun Ji have coffee together, and each of them has something on their mind. Jia Ran is pushed onto the stage by Sun Ji and sings "Under the Same Blue Sky". After leaving the café, Nam-joon invites Jia-ran back for a drink, and the two of them talk to each other about what's on their minds, bridging the gap between the two of them. However, when they wake up the next day, Nam Joon and Jia Ran can't remember what happened last night. Jia Ran comes to Koon Ha's company because of Seung Min's matter and sees Nam Joon, the two feel awkward. Episode 6

Nam Joon and Jia Ran go to lunch together and Hye Zan comes to see Nam Joon, leaving no choice but for the three to sit together. Hye Zan tells Nam Joon to tell Nam Hee that they have broken up. When Jia Ran hears this, she's angry that Hye Zan only cares about herself and leaves the restaurant angrily. Jia Ran goes to catch fish with the kids and suddenly Gwan Ha shows up in his car. Gwan Ha and the kids have fun catching fish together and suddenly a small child falls into the river and Gwan Ha jumps in to save them. Nam Hee finally learns about Nam Joon and Hye Chan's breakup and he is disappointed that the two are hiding things from him. Seeing his sister sad, Nam Joon offers to go out for dinner as a family. But there, Nam Joon meets Hye Zan and the man who appears to be his lover. Episode 7

Nam Joon proposes to go out with Jia Ran for 100 days, Jia Ran tells Nam Joon not to joke around but Nam Joon genuinely says that he'll let Jia Ran try to like him. Nam Joon is shocked when he finds a letter that Jia Ran treasured. Nam Joon and Gwan Ha secretly fight over Jia Ran. Guan Ha is disappointed to hear from Nam Joon that Guan Ha is not in Jia Lan's memories of the past 20 years. Jia Ran cries and laughs when she realizes that the letter she's been treasuring was written by Nam Joon. Without realizing it, Jia Ran goes to the church where she meets Shin Hyuk and Gwan Ha. It turns out that Shin Hyuk and Gwan Ha were good friends in college. After breaking up with Shin Hyuk, Guan Ha tells Jia Lan that Shin Hyuk was very distressed before becoming a believer and advises Jia Lan to give up on Shin Hyuk. Jia Lan remembers that Shin Hyuk was sad for her and she sheds tears without realizing it. Nam Hee advises Nam Joon to go on a blind date, but Nam Joon pretends not to understand. Ja Ran asks Nam Joon why he likes himself and Nam Joon says that he thinks of Hye Zan when he wakes up at night but only feels happy when he is with Ja Ran and tells Ja Ran that he will fall in love with Ja Ran. Guan Ha finds Shin Hyuk and talks about his feelings for Jia Lan, he always thought he knew Jia Lan very well but when he thinks about it, he seems to be wrong. Nam Joon tells the principal that Jia Ran is nice to everyone but herself. Hye Chan hands Jia Lan her own wedding invitation and asks Nam Joon to give him a copy as well. But Jia Ran says it would be more appropriate for Hye Chan to give it to Nam Joon in person. Hye Chan meets Nam Joon and says she wants to hear Nam Joon's blessing. Devastated, Nam Joon gets up and leaves. Episode 9

Nam Hee asks Hye Zan who exactly Nam Joon likes, and both Jia Ran and Hye Zan are embarrassed. Nam Joon takes Hye Zan's picture out of his wallet, thinks about it for a moment, and puts it back in. Nam Joon finds Jia Ran and tells her the reason for his disappearance and the two have dinner and sing together. Nam Joon brings up the matter of dating Jia Ran once again, and Jia Ran says she'll consider it. Nam Joon invites Jia Ran on a date, and reluctantly, Jia Ran agrees to Nam Joon's invitation. Jialan tells Namjoon that Sun Hee knows about their dating. The two go to look for Sun Hee but don't find her. When they get home, Jia Ran hugs Sun Ji's pillow and cries. Sun Hee runs out and has nowhere to go, she calls Gwan Ha. Gwan Ha calls Jia Ran and tells her that Sun Ji is with her. Ja Ran finds Sun Hee and tells her that she and Nam Joon have broken up, and Sun Hee is surprised. Nam Joon says he's back in a relationship with Jia Ran and Nam Hee is surprised. Nam Joon says he can be himself in front of Jia Ran. Nam Joon and Jia Ran go back to the movie theater. They love different movies and Jia Ran proposes a rock-paper-scissors game to win. As a result, Jia Ran wins over Nam Joon and the two of them watch a scary movie. Jia Lan can't help but laugh out loud at Nam Joon's fearful look. At this moment, Gwan Ha calls Jia Lan and Nam Joon snatches the call and meets Gwan Ha.
