Guiping, also known as Zhou Xun, is located in the southeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Tropic of Cancer runs through the middle, and Qianjiang, yujiang county and Jiang Xun meet in the urban area. Guiping County was founded in the first year of Liang Dynasty (502).
