The Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Xiaozhengmu, Yuanxi or Lantern Festival, is the fifteenth day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar every year, and is the last important festival in the Chinese Spring Festival yearly custom. The people did not know what it was, so King Zhao sent someone to ask Confucius.
