Tools needed: cardboard, scissors, ruler, glue.

1. First prepare a piece of red paper, as shown in the figure below.

2. Stick the double-sided adhesive tape to the upper and lower sides of the red paper, as shown in the figure below.

3. Compare it with a ruler and cut the red paper with a knife, as shown below.

4. Apply glue to the upper and lower sides of another piece of red paper, as shown in the figure below.

5. Stick the red paper on the glue, as shown in the figure below.

6. Roll up the glued red paper, as shown in the figure below.

7. Stick a piece of paper inside the lantern, as shown below.

8. Such a beautiful handmade lantern is ready, as shown below.
