Blood-tonifying red bean rice
The ingredients used are:
Rice...150 grams
Glutinous rice... ...100 grams
Red beans...80 grams
(The grams here can be completely ignored, and the amount of ingredients can be completely according to your own preferences, just Just like usual steamed rice, except that glutinous rice and red beans are added to the rice)
Salt... 1 tsp
Method:
1. Wash the red beans and soak them in water for 2-3 hours.
2. Take out the soaked red beans, put them into a soup pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and cook until the beans are cooked. You don’t have to wait until the beans crack, as long as they are cooked. You can turn off the fire. Be careful not to throw away the red soup used to cook the beans
You can also use a rice cooker to cook the beans over the fire. Drain the soaked red beans, add water and salt and steam them in the rice cooker for 10- 15 minutes (steam until just cooked, not until the beans crack.)
3. Wash the rice and glutinous rice together, put them into the rice cooker, and then put them in the rice cooker. of beans, pour the red soup used to cook the beans, add 1 teaspoon of salt, mix well, cover the rice cooker, press the cooking setting, and wait until the red bean rice is cooked. If the soup used to cook the beans is not enough, just add a little more water. The amount of water added is the same as usual for steaming rice.
4. Stir the cooked rice gently with a special spatula. You can also add some fried white sesame seeds and black sesame seeds.
