Introduction of Duobao Fish
Duobao fish is the English translation and trade name of Turbot, also known as European flounder, and the English name is turbot. Turbot belongs to turbot, turbot and turbot. The main producing area is located on the east coast of the Atlantic Ocean, which is one of the rare low-temperature economic fish species unique to the northeast Atlantic coast.
1992 was first introduced to China by Huanghai Fisheries Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, and now it has become the main aquaculture species in China, especially in northern China. Scophthalmus maximus is a cold-temperate, benthic omnivorous fish, which can tolerate water temperature of 1 to 28 degrees. Males generally mature 1 year, and females mature in 2 years. It has the characteristics of fast growth, high meat yield, strong disease resistance and high nutritional value.
Scophthalmus maximus introduction project is the most successful example of marine fish introduction in contemporary China, and the successful promotion of aquaculture in the later period has made it one of the leading species of marine aquaculture in China.
