Generally speaking, Tatars and Tatars all refer to Tatars, that is, Tatars. They are nomadic people living in southern Siberia, and later merged with the Mongolian people to follow Genghis Khan's western expedition.

Before the rise of Mongolia, this was the general name of all nomadic peoples on the Mongolian grassland. Tatars once lived in the west of Daxing 'anling Mountain in Altai Mountain and east of Hangzhou and Ai Shan, and moved westward during the great migration of Eurasian nationalities. Mongols are a nation that inherited the name "Tatar". When Mongolia invaded the west, the princes of Ross still called them Tatars, not Mongols. Later, the remaining Mongolian regime here was called Kazan, and the main ethnic group was Tatars. Even a grassland in southern Russia is called Tatar grassland.

Since then, Tatars have become synonymous with Mongolia, and they were generally called Mongolian Tatars in the early Ming Dynasty. At the same time, it has become synonymous with other nomadic peoples.
