Qingming grass, alias: Cirsium japonicum, Foeniculum vulgare, Artemisia annua, Artemisia annua, Gracilaria, Tian Ai, Latin scientific name: Gnaphalium affine D. Don is panicum miliaceum of Compositae and Gnaphalocrocis. The stems are upright or the branches from the base are inclined upward at the lower part, with a height of 10-40 cm or higher, a diameter of the base of about 3 mm, unbranched at the upper part, furrowed, covered with thick white cotton wool, and the internodes are 8-20 mm long, and rarely reach 5 cm at the upper part.
Leaves are sessile, spoon-shaped oblanceolate or obovate spoon-shaped, and stems and leaves are used as medicine. They are commonly used drugs for relieving cough, eliminating phlegm, treating asthma, bronchitis, non-infectious ulcers and trauma, and also have the effect of lowering blood pressure after oral administration.
