Snake gall should not be left for too long after it is taken out, so it must be treated immediately, otherwise it will deteriorate and lose its efficacy. The processing method of snake gall products is as follows:

(1) The bile duct of snake bile can be tied with thin thread and dried.

(2) Snake bile wine: Take 2-3 snake bile, cut open the gallbladder, and put it into grain liquor above 50℃ for about1000g. 1 ~ 3 days later.

(3) Vacuum drying bile powder Fresh bile is dried in a vacuum dryer to obtain green and yellow crystalline powder, and the powder is bottled or bagged for later use.

(4) Shedan Pill is made of snake gall and nourishing traditional Chinese medicine, such as "Shedan Zhuifeng Pill".

(5) The traditional Chinese medicines are snake gall powder, dried tangerine peel, Fritillaria cirrhosa, Pinellia ternata, rhizoma arisaematis, etc. Adde into snake gall wine, taking out and air dry to obtain snake gall powder such as pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae, rhizoma Pinelliae and rhizoma arisaematis.

(6) Candied snake gall dried tangerine peel, such as "snake gall dried tangerine peel" produced by a citrus farm in Guangdong, is not a powder of traditional Chinese medicine, but a boxed candied fruit made of aged dried tangerine peel. Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae has the function of relieving cough and resolving phlegm, and adding snake gall can certainly enhance the effect.

(7) Fresh bile is generally used to brew snake bile wine. After killing the snake, wash the snake gall with water, soak it in a small amount of wine for about 5 minutes, and put it into the prepared wine bottle. The alcohol content of pure grain liquor must be above 50 degrees, and 1 ~ 2 snake gall is generally put. Three kinds of snake gall should be put in three kinds of snake gall wine, and five kinds of snake gall should be put in five kinds of snake gall wine, which can be taken after two months.
