Synopsis: Cuba is surrounded by beautiful oceans and seas, which may be some of the last unexplored wild worlds of the world, with coral reefs spreading out for kilometers, a rich variety of aquatic life as well as some endangered fish species. But the beauty of the ocean and the survival of rare fish species are being threatened by the development of Cuba's coastal areas. Deborah Andro Lopez, a Cuban who used to be a world record holder in the sport of freediving, is now determined to protect the ocean. She has begun to monitor the ecological condition of coral reefs, teach young children about marine life, and raise money from abroad to sponsor marine conservation. She hopes that her efforts will enable the next generation to still share the beauty of the ocean.

Oceans for Two

Synopsis: Ana Amida is a 26 year old marine biologist in Lisbon, Portugal, whose job is to keep the ocean environment habitable for living creatures and to study more than 500 different species, including sharks, barracudas and manta rays, among others. She works at Oceanario, located in the center of the new area developed for Lisbon's Expo '98, which simulates the living conditions of the five oceans, while Ana is in charge of the Atlantic Ocean. For Ana, Oceanario is not only a place to work, but also a symbol of the new Portugal.

Anna's boyfriend also works at Oceanario and is a marine biologist. The young couple live and work together and share the same vision: to make people aware of the fragility of the environment in which marine life lives.
