Fish Leaping Dragon Gate, an ancient Chinese myth and legend, also known as Carp Jumping Dragon Gate, refers to the Yellow River carp jumping over the Dragon Gate and will change into a dragon. It is a metaphor for success in business or high status.

Legend has it that at the Hejin place of the Yellow River, the water flow is so dangerous that fish and turtles can't pass through, but once a fish jumps over this place, it can be transformed into a dragon, so this place is called Dragon Gate. Many fishes have returned to the Dragon Gate, but there is a red carp that leaps to the Dragon Gate again and again, and finally leaps through the Dragon Gate to be transformed into a dragon. Therefore, the carp leaping over the Dragon Gate has an auspicious meaning, signaling that people have finally crossed the obstacles and achieved success.
