At present, salmon is well-known in the domestic market, especially the sashimi of chilled salmon is very popular. The main producing areas are Norway, Chile and Australia, all of which are farmed on a large scale and then flown to China for consumption. The price is high for two reasons:

A little, the logistics cost is high, and the value of chilled salmon is high. It hasn't been frozen, and it's no more original than thawed, and it tastes good. Because chilled transportation needs air transportation, the logistics cost is high;

Second, the shelf life is short. From the time the fish is taken out to the end of eating, the shelf life is only about 10 day, and the cost will increase if it is not well controlled.

The above two reasons lead to high terminal consumer prices.
