Chinese sturgeon is a protected animal. According to the information of official website, the fishery administration department, Chinese sturgeon is a national first-class protected wild animal. Chinese sturgeon, also known as sturgeon shark, belongs to bottom fish and mainly lives in rivers and offshore waters. In 2009, ACIPENSER sinensis was listed in the Red List of Endangered Species of the World Conservation Union, and on February 5, 20021,it was listed in the first-class list of national key protected wild animals in China.
