Among them, the Arhat is an earlier variety cultivated, with a single color and a strong body.
Jinhua’s forehead is forward-looking, her eyes are mostly blue and gold, and her ink spots are few and shallow.
The pearl and horse eye circles are red, one is brushed and the other is not brushed.
Desas has a lower forehead and red pearl markings on his body.
1. The earliest species of Luohan fish bred by Hua Luo Han.
This kind of color is relatively simple, usually cyan or electric.
The body is very strong, the body is square, and the head is divided into two types: water head and hard head. The dorsal and pelvic fins are generally extended to the tail fin, thus forming the characteristic of wrapping the tail.
2. Golden Flower Arhat The golden flower Arhat is characterized by forward-looking forehead beads and no forehead spots.
The eyes are blue or gold, and less often red.
The dorsal and anal fins are usually not wired, and the caudal fin is fan-shaped.
Its body is square-shaped, with few ink spots on its body, usually near the back, and the color is also very light.
There are many varieties of this series, common ones include rainbow golden flower, red horse golden flower, phantom golden flower and red golden flower.
3. Pearl Arhat Pearl Arhat is currently the most common strain.
This line is genetically stable, easy to breed and improve, and has a high head bump rate.
Its forehead beads are raised and there are forehead spots.
The eyes protrude outward and the eye circles are red.
The dorsal and anal fins are very long, reaching about one-third of the body.
The caudal fin is rounded or spear-shaped, often depressed and wrinkled.
In addition, its color is bright, and the common ones include luck, red diamonds, blue diamonds, full silver, gold pearls, etc.
4. Maliu Arhat This is a new strain improved and bred from the original Arhat, and was born in Malay.
The forehead is tilted forward, usually with a fleshy head or a semi-water head, red eye circles, unlined dorsal and anal fins, and a tail fin between round and fan-shaped.
The color of its body is red at the front and gold at the back. The sequins on its body are also different, some are thin, some are thick, and some are dot-like.
5. The Desas Lohan Desas strain is relatively easy to identify. It is improved from the cross between the large snapper and the Texas Leopard. Its body length is between 20-30 cm, and its forehead beads are relatively low. But there is a tendency to look forward, the eyes are mostly blue and gold, the dorsal and anal fins are not wired, the tail fin is fan-shaped, the body is flat, and the back is high.
After sexual maturity, the cyan spots on the body will turn into red pearl markings, which look very dazzling.
6. The flower horn flower horn strain is characterized by ink spots and bead spots, and the scales also have a metallic luster.
Usually the body is brightly colored and elongated in shape with a thick line in the middle and the tail fin is relatively flat.
