# Biologically, the "feet" of shrimp should be called "appendages". Almost all kinds of shrimp have 19 pairs (38), including 5 pairs of head (small antenna and large antenna, 3 pairs of mouthparts), 8 pairs of chest (the first 3 pairs are mainly used to make water flow through gills and assist feeding, and the last 5 pairs have symmetrical feet) and 6 pairs of abdomen. What we usually call "feet" is actually a part of it, that is, the "walking feet" part, but it is customary not to count the big claws in the "feet", so there are 4 pairs of 8 "feet", but some people say it is 10 (counting big claws). It should be noted that the position of big claws of different shrimps is different, and they are not always the first pair.
