In my childhood, I loved to watch my mother make dumplings, and from time to time, I gave my mother trouble and help. My little heart is always puzzled, and I am curious to ask this and that. The most frequently asked question is why dumplings are made every year during the Dragon Boat Festival. Mother smiled and said, silly child, this is a rule handed down by our ancestors, and we must not lose it. So she told me about the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival while wrapping zongzi. My mother said that it was a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan. It is said that Qu Yuan was a minister of Chu Huaiwang in his age. He actively proposed that Chu should unite with Qi and fight against Qin. His views were not adopted, but he was just an official and sent to remote places. When Chu was about to die, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, Qu Yuan committed suicide by throwing himself into the Miluo River. After Qu Yuan threw himself into the river, Chu people threw delicious food into the river to prevent fish, shrimps, turtles and crabs from eating Qu Yuan's body. In this way, year after year, in order to commemorate this patriotic poet, people throw food into the river to pay homage to Qu Yuan every Dragon Boat Festival. One night, the symptoms of menstrual disease, an old man dreamed of Qu Yuan in a dream, endometrial inflammation treatment, and asked him: "We threw you so much food, did you eat it?" Qu Yuan said: "The rice you gave me to treat tuberculous pelvic inflammatory disease was eaten by those fish, shrimps, turtles and crabs." The old man asked, "How can I not be eaten by them?" Qu Yuan said, "You wrap the rice with bamboo leaves and make it into water chestnut-shaped dumplings. They think it is water chestnut, so they dare not eat it." On the Dragon Boat Festival the following year, people dropped pointed zongzi into the Miluo River as Qu Yuan said. However, after the Dragon Boat Festival, Qu Yuan gave the old man a dream and said, "Thank you for sending me so many zongzi, which I ate. But most of them were still eaten by fish, shrimp, turtles and crabs. " The old man asked Qu Yuan, "What other measures are there?" Qu Yuan said, "The boat delivering zongzi should dress up as Jackie Chan, because fish, shrimp, turtles and crabs are under the jurisdiction of dragons, and they dare not eat the dragon king's food." From then on, on the Dragon Boat Festival every year, people rowed dragon boats to the Miluo River to deliver zongzi. This is the origin of eating zongzi and rowing dragon boats on the Dragon Boat Festival. I leaned against my mother's side, listened to her telling a legendary story, and watched her hand roll a piece of rice dumpling leaves into a funnel shape, filled with glutinous rice, and turned several times, so that a handful of glutinous rice could be wrapped tightly, and TCM treated dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and then a thin cotton thread was bitten in her mouth, and the green rice dumpling leaves rolled freely in her hand, only a few times with a thin thread, chronic endometritis, The rice is gradually decreasing, and more and more zongzi are neatly packed in a big pot. With the treatment of menstrual disorder, with the unhurried beating flame, the fragrance wafts around the room. I look at the pot with white gas, and my heart is really anxious, looking forward to eating sweet zongzi as soon as possible. Zongzi is finally out of the pot. When it was first out of the pot, it was steaming, and anovulatory infertility was treated. That smell was really appetizing. Peel it off after cooking, it is white and delicate, fragrant, refreshing, tender and smooth, and pure fragrance is really unforgettable. The sweet smell fills all the rooms. The symptoms of chronic endometritis, we are sitting around our mother, eating and laughing, and the sweet and warm feeling is filled with zongxiang. At that time, Zongzi-eaten in the mouth, hypertestosterone, sweet in the heart. When I was a child, I ate zongzi steamed with pure glutinous rice, which was the treatment of chronic endometritis. After steaming, I peeled it off and ate it directly or dipped it in Cuban sugar, which was the symptom of endometrial inflammation. Because of poverty and lack of materials at that time, it was a very rich family to have zongzi dipped in sugar. Nowadays, you can eat all kinds of zongzi every day, but sometimes you miss the simple and simple glutinous rice zongzi. Nowadays, Zongzi is more of a snack and a unique food culture, and its development is more diversified, including salty Zongzi, sweet Zongzi, bean Zongzi, meat Zongzi and vegetable Zongzi. The main ingredients of zongzi are no longer limited to glutinous rice, but include white rice, mung beans, barbecued pork and eight treasures. The selection of materials for meat dumplings is generally very fine, and the symptoms of menstrual cycle are not allowed. Mushrooms, dried shrimps, chestnuts, pork (or chicken) and glutinous rice are used as raw materials, and menstruation is not allowed to be treated by Chinese medicine. When frying glutinous rice, mix the oil and rice evenly, stir-fry the rice on medium heat until dry and loose. The bandage is moderately elastic, and the fresh zongzi is cooked after the water is boiled, and it is rotten and fragrant with strong fire. Serve with chopped garlic, coriander, sand tea sauce, etc., full but not greasy. With the progress of their career, some even eat rice dumplings with shark's fin and high-grade Chinese herbal medicines such as Cordyceps sinensis, so it's not surprising if you see rice dumplings with the same sky-high price as moon cakes that day. At this time, the zongzi-biting in the mouth, happiness is sweet in my heart. Think about the situation that my mother used to pack zongzi for us to eat. It's really a mourning. Now, for the treatment of menstrual disorder, my mother has gone to a place where we can't see her old man's house. I can't eat the zongzi that my mother personally gave us. In fact, the goods in the market today are very abundant, and it is not difficult to eat a zongzi. It can be said that there are all kinds of zongzi, with abnormal menstruation, and you don't have to wait until the Dragon Boat Festival, you can buy them at any time, and your menstruation is out of order. There are various kinds of dumplings in the supermarket, but today, with the treatment of hyperandrogenism by traditional Chinese medicine and the fragrance of dumplings, I still deeply miss the situation that a family of all sizes sat around their mother eating fragrant and sweet dumplings ... but I can't find the pure white, tender and attractive feeling of childhood!
Eat zongzi on May 5th.
More than two thousand years ago, Qu Yuan, a great patriotic poet, heaved a sigh at the edge of the Guluo River and plunged into a torrent. More than two thousand years later, the fifth day of May became a traditional festival-Dragon Boat Festival, in which people wrapped zongzi, rowed dragon boats and boiled eggs to commemorate this great patriotic poet in various ways.
It's Dragon Boat Festival again, and I really want to experience this atmosphere, so I asked my grandmother to teach me how to make zongzi.
To make zongzi, you should first wash the leaves and soak them in hot water. Then prepare dates, eggs, meat, etc. for stuffing, and cook your favorite stuffing delicious, and you can start work. First, fold the long leaves, surround them, make a nest, put the prepared glutinous rice and japonica rice in the middle, and wrap the edges and corners. Then put the dumplings in rice, knead them together, and finally make the dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves into four corners.
The kung fu of wrapping zongzi is all in the last process. Whether your zongzi is wrapped well depends on whether the four corners are symmetrical and stylish. When I started to learn, I always twisted the four corners, either into six corners or into a ball.
Grandma looked at my "masterpiece" more than once and laughed: "This, can this be called Zongzi? Where do you tie the thin thread? "
I'm dizzy! The four corners of the emotional zongzi are convenient to hang with thin lines. Why is there no round zongzi in this world?
Put the wrapped zongzi in a pot and cook it with strong fire. After about 1 hour, cook it with slow fire for 30 minutes.
In the process of cooking zongzi, I am always eager to uncover the lid to see the situation. Because the aroma of zongzi floated out of the pot, it made my mouth water.
The waiting time is always particularly long. When the steaming zongzi was finally "liberated" from the pot, I danced with joy. Put it in a bowl, peel it off with chopsticks, and you can see the golden and soft "Zongrou" inside. Take a bite, it's so delicious that I almost bit off my chopsticks.
This year's Dragon Boat Festival, I learned to make zongzi and tasted the fruits of my labor, which was not sweet.
