Lemon is a kind of tree, also known as carambola, carambola and pistachio. It belongs to Citrus of Rutaceae. Native to Southeast Asia, it is common in some areas south of the Yangtze River in China, and is also cultivated in the United States, France, Italy and other places.
Lemon-like characteristics
Lemons can reach a height of 3-6m, with few or no thorns on the branches. Its young leaves and buds are dark purple, leaves are as thick as paper, and single flowers are axillary or rarely clustered. Its calyx is cup-shaped, its petals are light purple outside and white inside. It is a unisexual flower with developed stamens and degenerated pistils, with 20-25 or more stamens, a nearly tubular ovary and a head-shaped stigma.

Lemons are warm, resistant to shade, not cold, and afraid of heat. Suitable for planting on gentle slopes with fertile soil and good drainage. The pH value of the soil is preferably between 5.5 and 7.0. Lemons grow very fast, and there is a great demand for fertilizer.
