Therefore, these working mothers need to do their best to achieve both family and career. We should not only take good care of children, but also do our job well. However, there are still some women who have devoted their lives to their careers for the development of the motherland and the completion of their jobs, even giving up marriage and having children.
Among these great women who are willing to give and are not afraid of sacrifice are: Lin Qiaozhi, the "mother of thousands of babies".
First, the mother of thousands of babies
Lin Qiaozhi, the founder of obstetrics and gynecology in China, was unmarried and childless all her life. She delivered 50,000 babies by herself and was honored as the "mother of thousands of babies" by the world.
190 1 Lin Qiaozhi was born in an ordinary family in Gulangyu at the end of the year. At this time, Lin Qiaozhi is a very lovely female doll. The parents of the child will never think that the growth of this child will guarantee the happiness of hundreds of thousands of families in the future!

Figure 2 Lin Qiaozhi
Lin Qiaozhi was studious and intelligent since childhood. He entered the school at the age of 7, studied as a teacher at the age of 12, and stayed in school to teach at the age of 18. The job of teacher is stable and plain, which is very suitable for girls. But for Lin Qiaozhi, these are far from enough. She has positive thoughts and pursues progress. Slowly, the idea of becoming a doctor became more and more obvious in her mind. So she resolutely quit her job as a teacher and devoted herself to studying medical knowledge, preparing to enter a medical college.
Father Lin is a returned overseas Chinese and now works as a local teacher. He is open-minded, and supports Lin Qiaozhi to study and realize his dream all the way. And also personally taught Lin Qiaozhi to learn English and practice oral English. Lin's mother is a bit old-fashioned, preferring boys to girls, and always hoped that Lin Qiaozhi would be a boy. However, there is no mother in the world who doesn't love her children, and so does Lin, who really loves her daughter.

When Lin Qiaozhi was 5 years old, his mother died of illness. Young Lin Qiaozhi didn't know what her mother's illness was, only that her mother's illness was only for women and was very painful. Just then, the sudden death of her mother planted the seeds for Lin Qiaozhi to study medicine.
2. Never marry.
After my mother left, my father took Lin Qiaozhi to live and supported her in her studies. Lin Qiaozhi went all the way from primary school to higher normal school. After graduation, he stayed in school to teach and became a teacher. When she wanted to quit her job as a teacher, her stepmother raised objections. Because it takes a long time to study medicine, being a doctor is busy, which affects girls' marriage. Moreover, studying medicine costs a lot of money. In the face of her stepmother's objection, Lin Qiaozhi immediately replied: If you don't marry, you won't marry, and I will never marry!
Although she was opposed by her stepmother, it didn't affect Lin Qiaozhi's determination to study medicine and become a doctor. So she quit her job and began to prepare for Peking Union Medical College. Peking Union Medical College is extremely difficult to get into, and after entering the school, it failed once and failed twice.
Lin Qiaozhi was admitted by Peking Union Medical College. This is because a famous candidate fainted in the Lin Qiaozhi exam, and Lin Qiaozhi didn't want to drop the pen and went to check and help the girl. That was originally the dominant subject in Lin Qiaozhi, because of time constraints, half of the papers were not finished. Fortunately, Peking Union Medical College saw the kindness of Lin Qiaozhi's doctors and decided to make an exception! In this way, Lin Qiaozhi began his 8-year study career in Peking Union Medical College, and received his doctor's degree in 1929.

Lin Qiaozhi, the first female doctor to stay in hospital after graduation, was hired as a gynecologist by Union Medical College Hospital. Lin Qiaozhi's letter of appointment reads: Where marriage, pregnancy and childbirth affect workers, this letter of appointment will be automatically invalidated! Unexpectedly, she worked all her life, never married or pregnant.
Lin Qiaozhi works carefully and treats patients with kindness and courtesy. As a doctor, she started from the patient's point of view and considered for the patient, and was soon promoted to a resident. Later, he was sent to London and other places for further study.
During his study abroad, Lin Qiaozhi used all resources to learn advanced foreign medical theories and technologies, spent all his time in the laboratory, and used advanced foreign instruments to conduct medical experiments. Her research results were also displayed at the Birmingham Medical Exchange Conference and won unanimous praise!
In 1940, Lin Qiaozhi finished studying abroad and returned to the motherland to become the director of obstetrics and gynecology. Later, due to the turbulent situation, Lin Qiaozhi was forced to stop medical research and work as a doctor in a hospital. Who would have thought that this stop was nearly ten years!
Figure 5 Lin Qiaozhi
Although medical research could not continue, Lin Qiaozhi never gave up treating diseases and saving lives. She took out her savings and opened a clinic in an alley in Beijing, taking the initiative to reduce medical expenses for poor patients who looked down on the disease!
When the war was over and the society was no longer in turmoil, Lin Qiaozhi returned to Peking Union Medical College Hospital and resumed his work as a doctor, which was until the end of his life.
Second, "South He Bei Lin"
Like Lin Qiaozhi, there is another female doctor in China who has devoted her life to the medical cause of the motherland. She is He Bihui. Together with Lin Qiaozhi, she is known as "South He Bei Lin".

He Bihui is three years younger than Lin Qiaozhi and was born in 1904. Her family is in business, which is different from Lin Qiaozhi's scholarly family. Coincidentally, He Bihui also went to primary school in Gulangyu Island, and then he was admitted to Peking Union Medical College, and both of them performed very well in high flyers.
He Bihui's major is also obstetrics and gynecology. He has never been married and has no children. He has delivered thousands of newborns all his life.
Figure 6 He Bihui
2. Go back and come.
Lin Qiaozhi and He Bihui both made immortal achievements in their respective fields of obstetrics and gynecology. Both of them are unmarried for life and have nothing. But they are the mothers of thousands of newborns in China. It is precisely because of their selfless dedication and outstanding achievements that the risks of parturient women are greatly reduced, the survival rate of newborns is improved, the pain of expectant mothers during childbirth is reduced, and the survival rate of dystocia women is improved. And for decades, he has devoted himself to studying the treatment of female diseases.
Everyone is equal before time, even for two outstanding medical women. 1983 Lin Qiaozhi died of illness. The day before her death, she delivered six babies herself. She said that the most beautiful music in the world is the first healthy cry of a newborn, and even her last words are: "Hurry! Get the forceps! Get the forceps! " Lin Lao died in Beijing, and her ashes were scattered on the beautiful Gulangyu Island where she was born. He Bihui passed away in Nanjing on 1994.
3. Women also hold up half the sky.
Figure 7 Outstanding women
There are more and more working women in the new era, and there are more and more professional fields that women can do. Among them, many outstanding women have made great achievements in their own fields.

Doctors are kind-hearted and passed on from generation to generation. It is precisely because of the great medical workers from generation to generation that our lives will become more and more comfortable.
China's first female doctor of medicine: Jin Yunmei. Jin Yunmei was an outstanding working woman with many "No.1" titles in modern China. The most widely known is that she opened the first public nursing school in China: Beiyang Women's Medical Hall.
Shi Meiyu, founder of Shanghai Ninth Hospital. She grew up in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, and went to study in the United States. She devoted her life to treating diseases and saving lives, and encouraged China students to return to China to participate in the construction of the motherland.
Yang Buwei, a gourmet in the medical field, is the author of China's cookbook. She has not only made great achievements in medicine, but also likes to show China's food culture to foreign countries.
2. Respectable female workers
Figure 8 Fan Jinshi
Fan Jinshi, the guardian goddess of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, is called "the daughter of Dunhuang" and has been guarding Dunhuang for more than 50 years. She devoted all her youth to the research and protection of Dunhuang culture. Ji Xianlin spoke highly of Fan Jinshi's contribution to Dunhuang culture. He said that her decades of work can be called "boundless merits". In the face of such praise, Fan Jinshi only said faintly, "I have done something practical for Dunhuang." So indifferent, the doer!
Lin Changxia, the "Goddess Police", is a good policeman who puts people's safety at heart. Since serving as the director of Dengfeng Public Security Bureau, he has been committed to eliminating evils. For unsolved accumulated cases and old cases, we have been visiting and investigating the masses to seek the truth. Such a "most beautiful struggler" was unfortunately killed in the line of duty on the way to the scene, and even at the last moment of his life, he thought about unsolved cases.
There are many great women workers like this, who shine in their respective fields and make their own contributions to the construction of the motherland, social progress and human development.
