Anhui, Hebei, Shandong and Liaoning are the concentrated pear production areas in China, accounting for about half of the cultivation area and more than 60% of the output.

Dangshan and the surrounding area in Anhui Province are the Su pear production areas. Anhui Dangshan is the world's largest contiguous pear orchard, accounting for about 70% of the county's arable land. It is known as the "Pear Capital of China" and is the world's largest contiguous orchard industrial area recognized by the Guinness Book of Records. The annual output of Dangshan Su pear is about 1.5 billion kilograms, accounting for one-eighth of the country's total pear output.

Landlords such as Suizhong, Beizhen, Yixian, Jinxi, Anshan and Fuxin in Liaoning Province produce some varieties of Qiubai pear, Yali and Qiuzi pear systems.
