It has always been my belief that the so-called home cooking is something that can be easily cooked by a kitchen buff... This soy sauce chicken is seasoned with only salt, soy sauce and oil. It retains the original flavor of the chicken and is made in a lazy rice cooker, so you don't have to worry about the heat and time even if it's the first time you make it.
Ingredients for Soy Sauce Chicken (Rice Cooker Version)
Half chicken, 4 slices of ginger
Salt, soy sauce, oil

Step 1
Half chicken, no cutting

Give the chicken a full body inside and out*** and marinate for 20 minutes to taste.

Lay a few slices of ginger on the bottom of the rice cooker

Place the marinated chicken and pour the juices into the rice cooker together. (No water is needed)

Select the normal cooking button for the rice cooker.

The fragrant soy sauce chicken is ready. (I used thin salt soy sauce, so the color is not particularly dark, you can use dark soy sauce if you like dark color)

Pour the soup from the bottom of the rice cooker over the chicken.

Chop the chicken into small pieces, or you can tear it by hand (I like to use kitchen shears to cut it into small pieces. Saves you from having to wash your cutting board and not worrying about bones and broth splattering on the stovetop.
