The origin of the Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon Boat Festival originated in China. It was originally a festival in which ancient ancestors sacrificed their ancestors in the form of dragon boat races. Later, it was used to commemorate Qu Yuan, according to the mythical novel "The Peace of Continuation" by Wu Yun, a native of A Liang in the Southern Dynasties, and "The Story of Jingchu Times" by Zonggu. Some people think that this is to commemorate Wu Zixu, Cao E, the dutiful son, and Jiezitui. But when it comes to the Dragon Boat Festival, everyone must think of Qu Yuan first.
According to legend, during the Warring States period, Qu Yuan, a famous patriotic poet of Chu, saw that Chu had been invaded by Qin repeatedly, and the people were in great pain. He insisted on uniting Qi State against Qin State. Chu Huaiwang refused to accept Qu Yuan's suggestion, was deceived by Zhang Yi, was placed under house arrest in the State of Qin, and died soon after. When the news reached Chu, the loyal Qu Yuan was heartbroken and wrote a letter to the newly acceded to the throne, hoping that he would be loyal to the monarch and rebel and choose to train his own army for revenge. Who knows that Xiang Wang favored traitors and exiled Qu Yuan. At first glance, the time was ripe for Qin to send troops to capture the capital of Chu in 278 BC. Chu lost thousands of miles, and human bodies were everywhere.
Qu Yuan saw that his motherland was invaded, but there was no hope of saving the country, and his beautiful ideal failed, and his heart ached unceasingly. In extreme depression, grief and despair, he died in the Miluo River and wrote a magnificent patriotic movement with his own life. This day is the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
After hearing the news, the local fishermen quickly set sail to salvage, but they never saw Qu Yuan. People row boats on the river and then gradually develop into dragon boat races. In order to prevent Qu Yuan's body from being hurt by ichthyosaurs in the river, people threw zongzi and salted eggs into the river to feed the ichthyosaurs. An old doctor brought an altar of realgar wine and poured it into the river, saying that he wanted medicine to stun ichthyosaurs. After a while, the ichthyosaur really floated on the water, with a skirt on its whiskers. People pulled the dragon ashore, skinned it, pulled out its tendons and relieved their hatred. Then wrap the dragon tendon around the child's wrist and neck, and wipe the seven orifices with realgar wine, so that those poisonous snakes and pests dare not hurt the inner chastity child like Qu Yuan.
Escape is a great speech and an outstanding life; On the river bank, the people of Sri Lanka have passed away. "An Neng Bai Chen?" This eternal question is still in the hearts of generation after generation. The most popular theory of commemorating Qu Yuan expresses people's love and nostalgia for Qu Yuan, a great patriotic poet in ancient China, and also embodies the eternal essence of patriotism in people's hearts. For this reason, regardless of the festive atmosphere, the Dragon Boat Festival should be compassionate, profound and patriotic.
