August 6, in the final of the men's 4×100-meter relay at the Tokyo Olympics, Tang Xingqiang, Xie Zhenye, Su Bingtian and Wu Zhiqiang represented the Chinese team, and finally finished 4th, matching their best-ever result.

August 8, Su Bingtian served as the flag bearer of the Chinese sports delegation at the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.
