(4) fresh juice. In summer, you can drink watermelon juice, which has the functions of clearing heat and relieving summer heat, quenching thirst and diuresis; In autumn and winter, you can drink fresh pear juice, which has the functions of moistening the lungs, clearing the heart, relieving cough and removing phlegm; Fresh orange juice has the functions of eliminating dampness, resolving phlegm, clearing away lung heat and dredging collaterals.
Common semi-liquid foods are porridge, eggs, rotten noodles and so on.
It is worth noting that liquid food is generally eaten in the acute stage of illness, and semi-liquid food is eaten in the recovery period or fever reduction period.
If a child with a fever has a bad appetite, don't force him to eat, so as not to vomit after eating, but be sure to pay attention to supplementing water.
In addition, do not suddenly increase the food that the child has not eaten in the past during the fever period, so as not to cause diarrhea.

Water is better than medicine, and the body sweats more when it is hot. It is necessary to supplement it with warm water frequently. Babies under half a year old will continue to be breastfed. Breast milk is easy to digest, which can ensure nutritional needs and replenish water.
Artificial feeding, you can feed diluted whole milk, that is, 2 parts of milk powder plus 1 part of water (2:1). At this time, although the baby's milk volume is reduced, it supplements water, which is more conducive to the digestion and absorption of young children.
Children with fever should drink boiled water, and can be fed boiled water appropriately to supplement the body's vitamin C and enhance disease resistance. Keep your lips moist with water, not too much.
2. Liquid diet
Fever children, diet conditioning is mainly liquid food, such as milk, lotus root starch, milk (less oil) and so on. You can also drink some mung bean soup and iced watermelon to help cool down, diuresis and disease resistance. However, for children with diarrhea (within 6 months), the resistance is poor, the stomach peristalsis is weak, and the mucous membrane tolerance is poor, so cold drinks are not conducive to physical recovery and should be fasted.
When children's body temperature drops and their appetite improves, they can be fed semi-liquid food, such as minced meat porridge, noodles, porridge, egg congee and some digestible fish. Diet should be light and easy to digest, oil and salt should be less, a small amount of meals, and spicy and stimulating food should be avoided. But you don't have to avoid eating, in case of malnutrition and decreased resistance.
3. Take sugar and salt water
Children with fever and diarrhea can take it many times. Take sugar salt water. Mix 500 ml water with a spoonful of sugar and half bottle cap salt. 500 ml in 4 hours. At the same time, it can supplement electrolyte foods such as oranges, bananas and other fruits (more potassium and sodium), milk, soybean milk (containing calcium), rice soup and pasta (containing zinc).
For those with severe symptoms, temporarily fast and give "intravenous drip" to replenish water and electrolyte. Liquid foods such as rice soup, filtered vegetable juice, lotus root starch, etc. can be eaten after diarrhea and vomiting are relieved, but milk and soybean milk should be fasted (easy to produce gas).
For children with fever and cough, they should not eat too much to prevent vomiting. They should eat digestible food and eat less seafood and salty and greasy food to prevent allergies and cough and aggravate symptoms.
