What is Coconut
Coconut is a mixture of shredded coconut and coconut flour.

It is used as a filling for pastries, mooncakes, breads, etc. and sprinkled on the surface of candy canes, breads, etc. to add flavor and decorate the surface. The ingredients are made by shredding or grinding coconut meat into powder and then mixing it after a special drying process.

Coconut itself is white, while the common coconut on the market has an attractive oily golden color, due to the addition of butter, egg wash, sugar, egg yolks, etc. during the production process. Such coconut though has a better texture, stronger flavor and richer and more comprehensive nutrition.
