The Dutch pygmy rabbit belongs to the mammals of Rabbiniformes, Rabbinidae and Pika. It comes in various colors and is the smallest pet rabbit at present. It originated from a small rabbit in the Netherlands in the19th century, and evolved into what it is now after breeding in Britain and the United States.
It is said that it is a descendant of Polishrabbit, and it is also relatively small, almost the smallest rabbit species. Dwarf rabbits are characterized by big head and small body, round head like an apple, and the proportion of ears is much shorter than that of ordinary rabbits.
2. Mini Ear Rabbit
Small-eared rabbits are divided into British small-eared rabbits and American small-eared rabbits, which are far apart in appearance and weight.
Mini-ear rabbits are native to Europe and America, quiet and docile, small and lovely, and now they are mostly distributed in Britain and America. Mini-eared rabbits are similar to Dutch-eared rabbits, but the mini-eared rabbits have a strong body, heavy hind legs and a big head.
3. Dutch rabbit
The face of the Dutch rabbit has a V-shaped white block, which extends to the lower jaw. Small size, short ears, white nose and neck around the front foot.
Other parts are black, blue, chocolate, gray, yellow (ARBA disapproves of yellow Dutch rabbits), turtle green and copper and iron, and so on. There are about a dozen colors at present. The Dutch rabbit has an imaginative appearance, which makes it a very popular pet rabbit in Europe, America and Australia.
