Hainan Chicken Rice is one of the most popular Singaporean dishes, and is regarded as the "national dish" by Singaporeans. Koshihikari selects chickens from deep in the bamboo forests of Anji, China, which grow up strolling through the fields eating insects and grains, and are only considered to be ready when they are 120 days old and have a weight of at least 1.8 kilograms.
