However, artificially bred second- and third-generation offspring can be eaten and traded. Habits of stone frogs
Stone frogs often live next to clear puddles in Yinshan Mountains or near waterfalls with stone caves. They like to live in caves under rock walls in humid, quiet, little light, close to water sources, and cool mountains. They often lie down at the entrance of stone caves or put their heads above the water to perform It breathes for food. If disturbed, it will quickly dive into caves or rocks, under rock walls or in the water. It has the habit of living in groups and foraging at night. Nighttime is the peak period of activity. It is good at jumping and climbing, but its activities are weak at ordinary times. Smooth, active during the peak breeding period, with behaviors such as chirping and dragging.
Stone frogs like to eat moving animals and do not eat dead or motionless food, because the sensory cells on its retina are particularly sensitive to moving objects and insensitive to stationary objects.
