How to make it:
1) Wash the vermicelli, and soak it in boiling water. After soaking, cut into 10cm long sections, drain and set aside. Peel and wash white radish, cut into thin julienne.
2) Pour oil into the frying pan, when the oil is slightly hot, put the red pepper, scallion slices and star anise. When the red chili peppers turn a little color, pour in the shredded white radish and stir-fry.
3) Pour in soy sauce, dark soy sauce and salt and stir-fry for 2 minutes, so that the color of the soy sauce adheres evenly to the shredded radish. Then pour the vermicelli on top of the shredded radish (don't let the vermicelli stick to the wall of the pot in order to avoid paste), pour in a little boiling water, cover and simmer for 5 minutes, then open the lid and mix in the chicken broth, stir-fry for a few minutes to remove from the pot.
Super long-winded:
**This dish, do not need to put sugar, because the white radish itself is sweet, with soy sauce and a little salt stir fry, it is very delicious.
**I used sweet potato vermicelli, a very fine kind. Don't use the thick ones for stewing meat.
