1. Newspaper wrapping to accelerate ripening: You can wrap the whole durian in newspaper and place it in a cool place to speed up the ripening of the durian. The newspapers in this method can also be replaced by thick towels and plastic wrap.
2. Put the rice together for ripening: The durian meat can be packed in a fresh-keeping bag and placed in the rice for ripening. This method is similar to method 1 and also uses the ethylene released during the storage of rice.
3. Warm environment to accelerate ripening: Placing durian in a warm environment (not exposed to the sun) for a few days can also speed up the ripening of durian.
4. Refrigerated ripening of the fruit pulp: The pulp can be wrapped and placed in the refrigerator to be refrigerated. In this case, the pulp will ripen slowly, but at a slower speed, which is suitable for processing excess durians.
5. Microwave heating and ripening: Place relatively raw durian meat in a microwave oven and heat it over medium heat for about 2 minutes to soften and ripen the pulp. This method is suitable for urgent situations where the taste of the pulp is not as good as naturally mature ones.
