First rinse with running water for a few minutes to remove most of the germs, pesticides and other pollutants on the surface of the strawberries. It should be noted that do not immerse it in water first to prevent the pesticide from dissolving in the water and then being absorbed by the strawberry and penetrating into the fruit.

Don’t eat the washed strawberries right away. It is best to soak them in light salt water or rice water for 5 minutes (light salt water can kill the remaining residue on the surface of the strawberries.. .

Use running tap water to rinse away the rice water and salt water as well as any remaining harmful substances.

Rinse it with clean water (or cold boiled water) before eating.
