Applications:
1. Mainly used for headaches, body aches, aversion to cold, etc. caused by colds and wind-chill. It is often used in conjunction with Schizonepeta or perilla, which can enhance the effect of dispelling wind and cold. If the syndrome is characterized by excessive wind-heat, redness, swelling and pain in the eyes, this product can also be used in combination with Schizonepeta, peppermint, skullcap, etc. to dispel wind and clear away heat.
2. Used for rheumatism or rheumatic arthralgia. It is often combined with Qianghuo, Duhuo, Chuanxiong, etc. to enhance the effect of dispelling wind, dehumidification and relieving pain, such as Qianghuo Shengshi Decoction.

Application:
1. Most suitable for external symptoms of yang deficiency and cold evil entering the body, such as no sweating, aversion to cold, fever, and heavy pulse. It is often combined with ephedra and aconite to have the effect of warming the meridians and dispersing cold, such as Ephedra, Aconite and Asarum Decoction. If it is used for headaches and body pain caused by colds, wind-cold or rheumatism, it is often used together with Qianghuo, Fangfeng, Angelica dahurica and other wind-removing and analgesic drugs.
2. Used for rheumatic arthralgia, wind-cold headache and toothache. For wind-cold dampness, cold and painful limbs, it can be combined with cassia twig, aconite, ephedra, etc.; for headache due to wind-cold, it is often combined with Angelica dahurica and Chuanxiong. As for toothache, in addition to being compatible with Ligusticum and Angelica dahurica for wind-cold toothache, it can also be combined with Gypsum and Vitex for gastric fire and toothache. Modern times it is also used for tooth removal and abscess incision. Mix this product with raw pinellia, raw Nanxing, raw Caowu and other herbs, grind it into fine powder, soak it in alcohol and apply it to the affected area, which has the effect of anesthesia and pain relief.
3. Used for cough due to cold lung and excessive phlegm. Often combined with dried ginger, Schisandra chinensis, and Pinellia ternata, it can effectively warm the lungs, resolve phlegm, and relieve cough, such as Xiaoqinglong Decoction.
In addition, it can be used for mouth and tongue sores. Mix it with Coptis chinensis powder and spread it on the affected area; or use this product alone to grind it into powder, add water and honey to make a paste, and apply it to the navel.
