Narcissus tea belongs to oolong tea and is divided into three categories: narcissus in northern Fujian, narcissus in southern Fujian and narcissus in phoenix. Narcissus in northern Fujian can be subdivided into Wuyi Narcissus, Jianyang Narcissus and Jian 'ou Narcissus. There are mainly Yongchun Narcissus and Zhangping Narcissus in Minnan, and Phoenix Narcissus can be divided into Phoenix Dan Cong, Phoenix Langcai and Phoenix Narcissus.
Oolong tea is mainly produced in Guangdong, northern Fujian, southern Fujian and Taiwan Province Province. Narcissus tea belongs to semi-fermented oolong tea, which was created by Fujian tea farmers and originated in northern Fujian and Ouning County, Fujian Province. After brewing, the soup color is bright orange, the leaves are tender and clear, the leaves are red, and the aroma of the endoplasm is rich and long. It has the quality characteristics of orange color, blue aroma, mellow taste and sweet taste.
The Historical Development of Narcissus Tea
Narcissus tea originated in Jianzhou (Jian 'ou) area. As early as 1000 years ago, there was this kind of tea tree in Jian 'ou area, but its artificial cultivation was in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty more than 300 years ago (1662- 1722). During Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty (182 1), artificially cultivated daffodil tea was found in Huda Village of Xiaohu Town (then Ouning County, now jianyang city).
During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty (1857), Zheng Shibao, a native of Xianxi Township in Yongchun, introduced Shuixian Tea and Xianxi Dingxian Rock from northern Fujian, and then spread them in Yongchun and southern Fujian. Yongchun Narcissus combines the advantages of northern Fujian and southern Fujian oolong tea, making tea more resistant to soaking, more fragrant, more mellow in taste and brighter in soup color, forming Yongchun with unique flavor and becoming "Southern Fujian Narcissus".
