Yoga can be practiced at any age.
The benefits of practicing yoga will vary at different ages. In our twenties, we have a lot of energy, and practicing asanas can help us calm down. In our 30s, yoga boosts our confidence. When hot flashes hit in our 40s, a variety of yoga practices can help us cope with them, and after 55, yoga can help us get through menopause and the emotional upheavals in our lives.
The key, of course, is not to stop practicing. Yoga has an important role to play in all stages of a woman's life, and a consistent yoga practice will support her physically, emotionally and spiritually.
