(1) After food toxicology safety evaluation, it is proved that long-term use within the use limit is safe and harmless to human body.

(2) There should be sanitary standards and quality standards promulgated and approved by the People's Republic of China.

(3) There should be no damage to food nutrients.

(4) It can be eliminated or destroyed when it is processed, cooked or stored after reaching a certain purpose.

(5) After entering the human body, it is best to participate in the normal substance metabolism of the human body, or to be completely excreted after detoxification by the normal detoxification process, or to be completely excreted because it cannot be absorbed by the digestive tract.

(6) Food additives shall not be used to cover up food defects or as a means of forgery.

(7) Without the permission of the Ministry of Health, food additives may not be added to baby and children's food.
