The second bait is the internal organs, especially the liver! Because catfish eat carrion, especially Egyptian catfish, they like carrion very much, so many people use animal viscera and put them in plastic bags to make holes or hooks. Generally speaking, chicken and duck intestines, pig liver and pig lungs are more common and easy to use.

However, there are two points to add here: first, catfish eat carrion, but it doesn't mean that they like carrion best, so it's not only smelly fishing that can lure fish, but also the viscera of chickens and ducks! Secondly, combined with the experience of fishing friends, and through my experiments, I found that the effect of animal liver is relatively better, especially duck liver, which is particularly prominent and may be more fishy.
