Yongxi Huoqing
Origin: Yongxi, Langqiao Town, Jing County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, variety: one of the six major tea categories, green tea, non-fermented, biased in nature. Hanlangqiao Town is a famous hometown of tea. Yongxi Huoqing was once one of the top ten famous teas in China and has won many gold medals at domestic and foreign tea expos. It is truly a boutique green tea. Yongxi Huoqing was already a tribute in the Qing Dynasty. Its appearance is unique and beautiful, the grains are tender and heavy, the color is dark green and shiny, and the silver is densely covered. The shape of brewing is like an orchid stretching, the soup is bright apricot yellow, fragrant and fragrant, the taste is rich and sweet, and has a special fragrance.
How to choose?
Shape: round-waisted, tight and solid, color: dark green, oily, with hidden texture, soup color: light green, clear and bright, aroma: long-lasting fragrance, taste: mellow taste, sweet aftertaste, bottom of leaves : Light green and slightly yellow, evenly formed into flowers.
Historical development
It originated in the Ming Dynasty and was already a tribute in the Qing Dynasty. According to the "Jingxian Chronicle" records: In the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1645), "from the south of Mopan Mountain to Yongxi, it is more than thirty miles wide, and is rich in fine tea and fir trees." It can be seen that more than 300 years ago, Yongxi tea was quite Famous. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, the output of Huoqing was more than a hundred tons, of which high-grade Huoqing accounted for about 20%, which was the peak period of Huoqing production.
In the Qing Dynasty, the Zhu family, a giant businessman, appeared in Huangtian Village (ancient "foreign boat house" scenic spot) adjacent to Yongxi. Tea farmers, based on the Huizhou fried green production method, further kneaded and fried tea leaves. It is squeezed into a tight waist circle, thus forming the unique style of Yongxi Huoqing.
Brewing method
1. Warm cup sanitary ware.
2. Prepare tea, take 3g Yongxi Huoqing.
3. Brew, 85℃ boiling water, 1/3 full.
4. Stretch and shake gently.
5. Add water until it is 70% full and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
6. Drinking.
Brewing matters: It is best to choose glass cups for tea sets. The ratio of tea to water is 1:50. When the tea is 1/3 full, you can add water. Generally, three brews are the best.
Technology
Fresh leaves, greening, rolling, shaking the first blank, re-kneading, frying the second blank, spreading, breaking the old pot, and sifting.
Storage method
The shelf life of green tea is generally 12 months. The environment for storing green tea is: avoid light, isolate moisture, prevent odor, and seal. It is recommended to put the green tea into an aluminum foil bag, squeeze out the excess air in the bag, and seal the bag mouth. After sealing, put the tea bag into an iron can or tin can, close the lid and store it upright in the refrigerator.
You can take out 1 to 2 weeks’ worth in advance, but do not take it out frequently. If it can be consumed within a short period of 2 months, it can be stored at room temperature and in a cool place. The temperature should be controlled below 10°C and the relative humidity should be below 50%.
