2. Tengzhou, Shandong Province

Tengzhou City is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, with 4 specialized potato towns and 285 specialized villages. 3. Weining, Guizhou

Weining Yi, Hui and Miao Autonomous County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province is rich in potatoes with outstanding characteristics. In 2008, the Potato Professional Committee of China Food Industry Association awarded Weining the title of "China Southern Potato Town". ?

4. Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

It is the largest potato producing area in China and is known as "China Potato Capital". In 2008, the Ministry of Agriculture certified the geographical indication of "Wulanchabu Potato". In March 2009, China Food Industry Association officially named Wulanchabu as "Potato Capital of China", and registered the geographical indication certification trademark of "Wulanchabu Potato" in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce on October1year1February.

5. Wuchuan, Inner Mongolia

In 2004, Wuchuan County of Inner Mongolia was named "Potato Town of China" by "China New Western Forum". Wuchuan County is located in the middle of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with high latitude, cool climate, abundant sunshine, loose soil and rich in various minerals, so it is very suitable for potato planting.

6. Xiji, Ningxia

In 2004, Xiji County of Ningxia was named "Potato Town of China". Xiji potato is produced in the center of the Loess Plateau at the western foot of Liupanshan Mountain, where the industry is underdeveloped and the environment is natural. Due to the special climate and soil environment, potatoes are large, thin-skinned, tender and of good quality.
