Spleen and kidney yang deficiency is mostly caused by the feeling of cold evil heavier, or long-term disease exhaustion damage to the spleen and kidney yang qi, or diarrhea for a long time, damage to the spleen and kidney yang, or deficiencies in other organs, involving the spleen and kidney organs, and so on. Spleen deficiency of yang qi insufficiency, mostly caused by the dysfunction of the large intestine, manifested as or diarrhea, or constipation.

To treat spleen and kidney yang deficiency use Gui Zhi Fang Feng decoction to deliver Kidney Qi Pills. Kidney Qi Pill is the main formula for warming the kidneys and assisting yang. In the formula, the cooked land is sweet and warm to nourish the kidney, cornelian cherry and yam are used to nourish the liver and spleen, and the three medicines are used together to nourish the kidney, the liver and the spleen; with the accompanying seeds, cinnamon sticks (or cinnamon) to warm the kidney and help the yang; and the zedoary, poria, and danpi are used to vent the turbid qi of the liver, spleen, and kidney organs. The whole formula is warm but not dry, nourishing but not greasy, focusing on warming kidney qi. Use Gui Zhi Fang to disperse wind-cold in the surface, and decoct the soup to send kidney qi pills to achieve the purpose of warming the kidney to help yang to relieve the surface.
