Plants have different heads. Although both Erigeron grandis and Erigeron breviscapus belong to Erigeron breviscapus, the plant of Erigeron breviscapus is relatively tall, and its height is generally about one meter when it grows up, while that of Erigeron breviscapus is only half that of Erigeron breviscapus, about 50 to 60 centimeters, but the neck of Erigeron breviscapus has thick lines.

The leaves are different in size. The leaves of Erigeron grandis are relatively large, while those of Erigeron breviscapus are relatively small and oval, and the mature leaves are mostly strip-lanceolate or oblong.

Flowers have different heads. The flowers they bloom after flowering are all heads, but the flowers of Erigeron grandis are larger, while the flowers of Erigeron grandis are about three to four millimeters in diameter, which are smaller but have more flowers.

The colors of flowers are different, and the flowers of Dafeipeng are whiter. However, the flower color of Erigeron breviscapus is almost white or slightly lavender, so there is still a difference after careful observation.
