Put some oil in the bottom of the pot. When the oil is hot, put the fat beef slices, spread them without frying, then add a little more soy sauce, add Jiang Mo and mix well. After the beef is cooked with soy sauce, add shredded onion (two onions for a catty of beef) and soy sauce and mix well, then turn to low heat, sprinkle some black pepper when cooking, and never put salt. This is what my family often does when working in Japan, and so does my family. It is delicious. I don't know if it is what you want.
