Channel catfish (scientific name: Ietalurus Punetaus) is an arm fish. In the paraxial position of the mouth, there are 4 pairs of dark gray tentacles in the upper and lower jaws of the head, with different lengths. The mouth beard is the longest, the nose beard is the shortest, the eyes are small, the side is centered, the branchial foramen is large, and the branchial membrane is not connected to the cheeks.
Temperature adaptation range:
Strong adaptability to the ecological environment. The results showed that the optimum temperature range was 0-38℃, the feeding temperature was 5-36.5℃, and the optimum growth temperature was 18-34℃. When the dissolved oxygen is above 2.5mg/l, it can live normally, and when the dissolved oxygen is below 0.8mg/l, it begins to float. The PH value of normal growth is 6.5-8.9, and the adaptive salinity is 0.2-8.5 ‰.
