African swine fever is an acute, hot and highly contagious infectious disease caused by African swine fever virus infection. The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) lists it as a legally reported animal disease, and China lists it as a kind of animal disease. African swine fever is not pathogenic to people, not to people and animals. However, after pig infection, the morbidity and mortality can be as high as100%.
The results of gene sequencing showed that the strain that caused the epidemic of African swine fever in China was type ⅱ, and some gene sequences were completely consistent with those of Georgian strain 2007 and Russian strain Irkutsk 20 17.
