Xiaoshu is the eleventh of the twenty-four solar terms in the lunar calendar, and the fifth solar term in summer, indicating the official start of the summer season; when the sun reaches 105 degrees of ecliptic longitude, it is called Xiaoshu. Shu means hot, Xiaoshu means mild heat, not very hot yet. It means that the weather is starting to be hot, but it has not yet reached the hottest point. This is basically the case in most parts of the country. Crops across the country have entered a stage of vigorous growth, and field management needs to be strengthened.

2. Great Heat is one of the twenty-four solar terms of the lunar calendar. The sun is located at 120° of the celestial longitude. During the Great Heat, Chinese people have customs such as drinking fu tea, drying fu ginger, burning fu incense, and drinking mutton soup.
