Chickpeas are rich in a variety of plant proteins and amino acids, vitamins, crude fiber and other nutrients, protein content of up to 28% or more, 5% fat, carbohydrates 61%, is a super high quality healthy low-calorie snack.
Steps
1. Soak the chickpeas overnight
2. Rinse well, dry on kitchen paper, and spread on a baking sheet
3. Bake in the oven at 375°F/190°C for 30 minutes
4. Remove the chickpeas from the first round of baking and allow them to cool slightly, then place them in a plastic bag and season with your favorite spices (I only have Pepper, salt and cumin, you can also add garlic powder, chili powder, etc.) and mix well
5. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes
Tips
1. Make sure to pat the water out of the chickpeas after the first round of baking! No water is the key to crispiness
2. Instead of removing them immediately after the second baking, leave the oven open a small crack to allow the chickpeas to cool naturally, they will be even more crispy and delicious!
3. Baked beans can be stored in an airtight container for about 5 days at room temperature. Put in the refrigerator to extend the shelf life
