Most of you have seen "Kingsman," and if "Kingsman 1" was a smart student's elaborate graduation thesis, then "Kingsman 2" is the student's graduation party, a little too much of himself, but with the smarts still intact.

Some "British" fans couldn't get past the American setting: "The code name for a British gentleman is Knights of the Round Table, and the code name for an American cowboy is wine... just kidding."

Well, the United States of America has only been a nation for about 200 years, and unless Abraham Lincoln was forced to become a man, there just aren't that many mythological figures to use as code names.

Here's how I felt about the movie, I can only write about it based on my understanding and feelings, so please forgive me if there are any mistakes or omissions.

1. Action scenes

The action scenes in "The Golden Circle" are of the same caliber as its predecessor, and the director continues to do a very good job of applying long shots to the action scenes, making them look fluid and fast. Also in terms of action design, this movie adds more different styles of fighting moves than its predecessor. From the posters and trailers, we can see that the agents of the United States of America have also appeared in this movie, and their fighting style is very different from that of King's Man's British gentlemen, showing different styles and charisma on the screen, but they are all equally wonderful.

2. Plot Development

Like many "coming-of-age" movies, the plot and themes of the King's Man franchise progressively advance as the main character, Eggsy, grows up. In "Agent Academy," Eggsy is a student learning to overcome himself and discover his potential and his worth. And in "The Golden Circle," Eggsy has become an accomplished agent who is learning how to handle matters calmly and how to endure pain.

In addition to showing Eggsy's gradual maturation, the movie also aims to explain to the audience the inner world of an agent, including some of Eggsy's own obsessions and contradictions, as well as Harry Hart's and Merlin's life-long work as agents. In addition to their gentlemanly style and occasional black humor, the film also shows the inner regret, loneliness and romantic feelings of the agents.
