1. Ensure an adequate supply of calcium
Spring is a good season for children to grow taller, and children grow taller mainly as a result of bone development. The main component of bone is calcium, therefore, children should be supplied with sufficient calcium in spring. Children need 700-800 milligrams of calcium per day, the appropriate supply is not less than 1000 milligrams per day. Calcium-rich foods include sesame seeds, cauliflower, radish, carrots, kelp, mustard greens, snails and shrimp. Then there is rib soup or bone broth, which are not only rich in calcium but also help the body to absorb calcium. We will continue to use bone broth in our cooking once a week to ensure that our children are able to absorb the calcium.
2. Vitamin C
Vitamin C in the human body is to improve the sensitivity of the brain nerves, so that the brain's response to stimuli flexible, but also can improve immunity and resistance to disease, the child's brain and body have a very important role. Spring is windy and dry, easy to cause hemorrhage, vitamin C has a very good effect on preventing bleeding, must be supplied in time. Our garden will try to let the children eat more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin c, such as citrus, apples, tomatoes, radish, etc.
3. Reasonable combination of coarse and mixed grains
Crude and mixed grains are firstly able to supplement minerals to the human body and ensure the supply of trace elements, such as iron, zinc, manganese, copper, calcium, phosphorus, etc., and then fiber and various vitamins, and then organic compounds with a special structure, such as aromatic substances, amino acids and so on. Moreover, food diversification is also helpful in promoting appetite, triggering children's appetite and enhancing their digestion and absorption ability. Our school will continue to maintain the mix of coarse and mixed grains in the children's staple food. Using the natural color and flavor of various kinds of grains, we will make reasonable combinations to make various kinds of pasta that children love to eat.
4. Eat more food containing natural sugar
Spring, due to the warming of the climate and the long days and short nights, the children's metabolism is exuberant, and the time spent outdoors is much longer, so the consumption of calories and nutrients will be relatively larger, so that the children often feel hungry. Therefore, we have adjusted the recipes accordingly, and the food we use will be mainly homemade, supplemented by purchased food.
5.5.2.1.3 The variety of colors
In order to satisfy the various nutrients needed by the children's bodies, we not only provide nutritious food, but also take into account the psychological and physiological characteristics of the children. Due to the small stomach capacity of young children, the amount of digestive fluid is also less, monotonous food is easy to produce anorexia and partiality. However, young children are curious and easily influenced by the external environment, therefore, we pay special attention to the color, aroma and taste of food and the appearance of the food image in the production of meals, and often change the varieties of flowers and colors, so that the coarse grains and fine grains, fine grains and clever, in order to promote the good appetite of young children. For example, we add rhubarb rice, sweet potatoes and peanuts into the rice porridge; we basically make pasta varieties for two weeks, for example, we add raisins, black sesame seeds and melon seeds into the sugar buns, and we make buns once a week, but the fillings are different every week; and we also make noodles into various styles such as noodles with fried sauce, noodles with shredded pork, stir-fried noodles and noodles in soup. In the selection and preparation of food, we also try to adapt to the digestive ability and eating psychology of young children, to prevent food from being too acidic, too salty, greasy.
6. Create a good eating atmosphere, enhance the children's appetite
Children eat meals in a good or bad environment directly affects the children's appetite, the pre-dinner nutritional introduction, the teacher explained to the children of today's meals, not only so that the children have a pleasant eating state of mind, but also to increase the children's knowledge.
