1, orchard planting
Litchi orchards can be selected in places with slopes, and the size depends on the situation. Generally, the size is 3-4 mu. The best time for litchi cultivation is in early spring and early autumn, that is, in the middle of March and the beginning of 10, about 19 plants per mu. Because the height of litchi will reach 1-2 meters when it grows up, the spacing between each plant should be as wide as possible, 5*5 meters or 6*6 meters. The middle of litchi seedlings is exposed about 15 cm. When cultivating, don't step on it or hammer it with anything, but pour enough water, about 50 kilograms per plant.
2. Fertilization measures
Litchi needs to be fertilized 3-4 times a year, once a season. Every mu of base fertilizer needs decomposed farm manure. Every time the leaves turn green, you can spray some Zafate amino acid foliar fertilizer. Half a month before flower buds begin to differentiate, high phosphorus water-soluble fertilizer can be applied topdressing per mu, high potassium water-soluble fertilizer can be applied topdressing before physiological fruit drop, and balanced water-soluble fertilizer can be applied topdressing to supplement tree nutrients after fruit picking. When topdressing, only catch the amount, and you can't apply fertilizer at will.
3, control the tip pruning
Prune some injured branches and branches damaged by pests and diseases before fertilization. The height of each plant should be controlled below two meters to maintain the nutrient transfer and height of the tree. However, attention should be paid to pruning, because litchi varieties are different, and the pruning is less affected by jade capsules, and the flowering rate is still high in the second year. However, other varieties may affect the flowering rate. Lychee products such as March Red have a great influence, and the flowering rate decreases in the following year. So thin and cut short.
